PryMarke opens new offices
Atlanta-based PryMarke Ltd. announced the simultaneous opening of its
offices in Atlanta and San Jose, Costa Rica.
PryMarke, Ltd., provides marketing, technology, and training expertise
to middle- and large-sized firms wishing to expand or improve operations
in a global economy.
Currently, PryMarke is working to close several major projects that
include a technology optimization project with a major Central American
bank, a hotel development project in Nicaragua and Colombia, and an
undisclosed e-learning project in western Europe.
BroadBandBuyer releases lead-generation program
Atlanta-based BroadBandBuyer.com, an online service that helps
businesses find and comparison-shop for telecom services, released a new
lead-generation program for telecom providers in the United States.
The new program provides highly qualified leads for key
services--including voice-over-IP (VoIP), VPN, DSL, and T1--based on a
cost-per-lead model. The new service provides carriers with access to a
steady stream of customers with measurable ROI. By limiting the program
to a short list of leading providers, the program further increases the
value of its leads.
SkyBridge Global acquires Atlanta consulting firm
SkyBridge Global Inc. has bought Atlanta-based Meridian Systems
Consulting Inc.
Meridian Systems Consulting was founded in 1997 and provides functional
and technical consulting services in PeopleSoft human resources,
financials, supply chain and CRM applications. With this acquisition,
SkyBridge has added 80 customers.
Meridian's management team will become part of Atlanta-based SkyBridge.
iRip debuts service for iPods
Atlanta-based iRip debuted its CD-to-iPod transferring (ripping)
service. The service assists current and prospective iPod owners by
taking their CDs and ripping them to their iPods. All orders are tracked
via iRip's Client Order Management Web application, letting the customer
know their order's status.
After completing each order, iRip will mails the client a 200 lbs-test
crush-proof box. The client then places their iPod in a padded bag
within another reinforced box and then puts that and the CD collection
in the larger box.
iRip service costs only $1 per CD for standard service.
Video Display completes E&S deal
Video Display Corp. has completed its purchase of the ESCP and
Targetview CRT projector product lines from Evans & Sutherland.
Atlanta-based Video Display is consolidating all CRT projector
manufacturing, sales and support with its established Marquee projector
operations in Cape Canaveral, Fla.
Video Display designs, develops and makes products for display
requirements for military, medical and industrial uses, with emphasis on
high-end training and simulation applications.
Inflow adds new client
Inflow-Atlanta, a provider of outsourced technology services, announced
the addition of new customer Availity LLC, a provider of e-health
transaction services.
Availity optimizes the flow of information between health care
providers, health plans and other health care stakeholders through a
secure, collaborative Internet-based exchange.
Summit Systems launches United Technology Group
Summit Systems Inc. spun off of its Network Services Division and named
the new company United Technology Group LLC.
United Technology Group will continue to offer services based on
industry leading networking, application and telephony vendors. Current
service contracts and support agreements with Buford-based Summit
Systems will be transferred to United Technology Group and serviced by
the same team.
United Technology Group has established long-term agreements with parent
company Summit Systems to share resources and provide support to all
mutual customers. The two companies will reside in separate office
spaces in the same building in Buford.
Summit Systems provides low-voltage telecommunication and high-voltage
electrical systems.
