Its relative cleanliness aside, Fellowes' Cordless Combo wireless peripheral setup offers a six-foot range and a standard USB plug-in. The Windows XP-compatible keyboard has an impressive array of hot keys that can be used to control your computer's CD and DVD players, launch your e-mail program or Web browser, do common word-processing functions (cut, copy, paste), launch a calculator, and even put your PC into sleep mode.

The cordless combo also includes a wireless scroll optical mouse (with three programmable buttons) and multiple-channel RF transmission to cut down on interference.

A new keyboard isn't exactly sexy, and the Cordless Combo isn't cheap at $120 MSRP (though it can be found for much less). But shouldn't you splurge a bit on something that will literally be at your fingertips all day?
