ISU Derby debuts IT insurance
Los Angeles-based ISU Derby Insurance Associates recently debuted

errors and omissions, and general liability insurance.
This online source is available to serve clientele in the tech industry

Iogear release KVM switch for Mac Mini
Irvine-based Iogear recently released its MiniView Micro USB PLUS KVM
Switch. The switch is designed to connect any computer to the new Apple
Mac Mini.
Since the Mac Mini computer does not come with a keyboard or monitor,
users can connect their favorite keyboard, monitor, speakers and mouse
to the new Apple system, along with their current desktop computer.
The MiniView Micro PLUS KVM is a self-powered switch with built-in
cables for Plug-n-Play use.
SYS buys Antin Engineering
San Diego-based IT consultant SYS Technologies acquired all the
outstanding stock of privately held Antin Engineering of San Diego for
approximately $2.6 million in cash and SYS stock.
Antin provides information technology and technical support services
covering systems engineering, test and evaluation, training, human
systems integration, and XML-directed solutions.
Puckett new RivalWatch CEO
Santa Clara-based RivalWatch Inc., which works in real-time competitive
intelligence gathering and analysis named Gary Puckett as its new CEO.
Puckett has been RivalWatch's vice president of sales and business
development for the past three years. Prior to joining Rivalwatch,
Puckett was with NatSteel Corp., GET Manufacturing, and Solectron Corp.
RivalWatch also relocated its offices to 2933 Bunker Hill Lane in Santa
Clara.
Elo TouchSystems releases touch monitors
Menlo Park-based Elo TouchSystems Inc. released a pair of 17-inch LCD
rear-mount touch monitors; the 1749L, featuring a wide viewing angle
panel, and the 1746L, with a lower spec panel.
Both touch monitors feature Elo's clear glass IntelliTouch surface wave
touch technology.
The 1746L and 1749L touch monitors have identical form factors,
differing only in their panel specifications.
Croasdale joins SmartOrg
Menlo Park-based SmartOrg Inc. named Bennett Croasdale to the newly
created position of business development manager, Eastern Region.
Prior to joining SmartOrg, Mr. Croasdale managed domestic and
international accounts for Stage-Gate Inc.
Epicurious.com debuts recipe download service
Los Angeles-based food Web site Epicurious.com has teamed up with mobile
data services market leader Juice Wireless to create and build Epi to
Go.
The new feature offers Epicurious.com readers the capability to download
directly to their mobile phones more than 18,000 recipes from Bon
Appétit, Gourmet, and other sources .
Apani releases VPN client
Brea-based Apani Networks recently released the Apani Networks VPN
Client v3.1.1 for secure connection to Nortel VPN Routers (formerly
known as Contivity Secure IP Services Gateways).
This version adds support for Linux Kernel-Source 2.6.
Apani makes security products for enterprise and small-to-medium
business.
