LinkPro debuts IPReplicator
Newport Beach-based LinkPro Technologies Inc., a provider of data
replication software, announced IPReplicator for Windows. The new
release supports international language character sets. IPReplicator's
replication technology can perform incremental backups to files and
folders either in real-time, scheduled or manual modes of operation.
Secure global communication is accomplished using secure connections
over TCP/IP based networks including the Internet. IPReplicator's
distributed replication agents combined with intuitive central
management operate automatically over LANs, WANs or the Internet. It
provides file replication and backup of a whole range of enterprise
data. It does this while conserving network resources and replicating
over secure TCP/IP connections, even from behind firewalls.

Acoustic Magic microphone certified by Trio
Pasadena-based Trio Systems, a developer of Windows recording software,
certified the Voice Tracker Array Microphone for use with their
SoniClear MeetingPro product line. SoniClear MeetingPro software
digitally records board meetings, government meetings, lectures, and
other meetings on any Windows computer. When recording in noisy
environments, background noise from video projectors, air conditioning,
and traffic can obscure softer voices and people speaking far from the
microphone. This can make it difficult to hear exactly what was said.
Using the Voice Tracker with SoniClear MeetingPro solves this problem,
resulting in improved recordings and easy transcription of detailed
minutes. The Voice Tracker locates a talker and electronically steers a
"listening beam," like an acoustic searchlight, in that direction. This
creates spatial filtering; sounds from other parts of the room are not
picked up. In addition, digital noise reduction processing removes
background noise.

28. Computer Sciences Corp., a information technology services company,
and US Dataworks will combine CSC's payment, check and fraud software
