CBL opens Japan facility
Armonk-based CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc., a provider of
computer data recovery services, has expanded to 11 countries on six
continents with the opening of its newest facility in Tokyo, Japan.
With its expansion into Japan, CBL has 11 facilities in 10
countries, including San Diego, California and Armonk, New York;
Toronto, Canada; Newcastle, United Kingdom; Kaiserslautern, Germany;
Beijing, China; Barbados, West Indies; Ponta Grossa, Brazil; and
Singapore.
Symbio adds resellers
New Rochelle-based Symbio Technologies, an independent software and
services firm that develops and deploys Linux-based thin client products
and services, announced today that it has added to its growing network
of authorized reseller partners.
The latest additions to the company's growing VAR list includes:

webslingerZ updates smartASK 2.0
New York-¬based webslingerZ, Inc. announced the release of
smartASK 2.0, the latest version of the company's Web-based survey
software.
webslingerZ also announced the signing of its latest enterprise
customers, including Boeing, Nortel Networks, and the New Jersey
Department of Health and Senior Services.
Passlogix launches platform strategy
New York-based Passlogix, a provider of enterprise single sign-on
(ESSO) technology, launched its new platform strategy, providing
comprehensive ESSO functionality and supporting integration for the
products necessary for enterprise wide identity management solutions.
The platform, a foundation for all future solutions from Passlogix,
is built on the newest version of v-GO SSO. The v-GO Platform
establishes a clear path for enterprise customers to strengthen user
identities by improving authentication with single sign-on, leveraging
their identity management infrastructure and providing the means to
adopt strong authentication technologies, like biometrics and smart
cards.
The v-GO Platform is designed to integrate easily with existing
infrastructure and allow customers the flexibility to leverage their
investment in identity-based technologies.
Proginet releases password synch adapters
Garden City-based software developer Proginet released enterprise
password synchronization adapters for the Microsoft Host Integration
Server (HIS) 2004 Enterprise Single Sign On.
The new ePS Adapters were developed by Proginet as part of the
company's agreement with Microsoft Corp. to augment Microsoft's HIS
2004. HIS 2004, part of the Windows Server System, will enable
enterprises to connect applications on IBM host systems with Microsoft
.NET-based systems.
Once users log on to their primary computer, they can access
resources on any system using Microsoft's HIS 2004 Enterprise Single
Sign On (SSO) feature. The ePS Adapters enable single sign-on-even when
passwords are changed-by extending the password synchronization
functionality of the SSO technology to non-Windows platforms.
eSilo joins TAMP affiliate program
Merrick-based TAMP Computer Systems Inc. recently added eSilo
Incorporated, headquartered in Jupiter, Florida to the DRS Affiliate
program.
eSilo, Inc. is a privately owned company offering comprehensive
on-line data backup, retrieval, and management services for individuals
and corporations.
TAMP has been delivering DRS through authorized affiliates for over
10 years.
TAMP is a supplier of planning software and consulting solutions for
business continuity, crisis/emergency management, contingency and
disaster recovery.
