Digital camera movement is a big problem with focus. Any movement (with either the object or the user) during the capture of an image will result in poor image quality. If you cannot hold the camera still, place the camera on a fixed or solid base such as a tripod, or a table. You should give the camera time to focus by pressing the shutter button halfway down--you'll normally see a green light blink in the viewfinder to tell you that the focus has locked. Then depress the shutter to snap the image. If you simply snap the image without giving the camera time to focus, your images may be blurry.
