|MIN: Mobile Identification Number|
Mobile Identification Number (MIN) is a unique identification number given to a mobile unit. In most cases, this number is the telephone number of the handset. In the case of analog cellular, the MIN is used to route the call. In most second generation system, the system assigns temporary numbers to the handset to route calls as a security precaution.
