| The NCB was established in 1988 and is a para-satal body which operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications. It is in charge of promoting the accelerated diffusion of IT in every socio-economic sphere of Mauritius in line with national goals and policies. The role of the NCB is, amongst others, to advise Government as to the elaboration of national policies for the development of the ICT sector in Mauritius. |
