Appnomic has developed an efficient, affordable and end-to-end managed disaster recovery solution to ensure higher levels of availability for the client’s mission critical applications in the event of an unforeseen disaster in the primary datacenter. This solution is offered as a Hosted, Managed Service delivered from a multi-tenant Remote Management Center (RMC) in Bangalore, India.
Everest Bank uses Finacle core banking solution, which is a mission critical application for the bank and its continued availability in any kind of situation was important to the bank and its customers. Appnomic Systems partnered with CAS Trading House, Nepal to provide this solution to the bank. For this comprehensive solution, Appnomic has provided all hardware, monitoring and management of the DR infrastructure, hosted in a world-class Tier-3 datacenter and backed by Service Level Agreements (SLA). A dedicated IPSEC VPN link connects the primary Data Center of the bank in Kathmandu, Nepal with the hosted DR Data Centre in Bangalore, India. Automated replication of data to the DR site takes place through the WAN link. Appnomic and CAS worked jointly with the Bank’s IT team to conduct a successful DR drill that showcased a complete failover of the application and database from the primary site to the DR site.
