Glenview, IL — Sept 17, 2007 — Candid and Optelcon announced an agreement today through which Candid will add Optelcon’s latest generation of telecom expense management services, “TEM”, to enhance its already extensive Telecom service offerings.  Through this partnership, Candid will be expanding its current offering with services such as VOIP/Call Accounting, Invoice Processing, Mobile Expense Optimization and Management, and a host of other services.  These services are all designed to reduce their client telecom expenditures and automate key business processes.

Gathering and consolidating all of the of a company’s telecom information into one central system is one of the biggest problems faced by organizations trying to manage their telecom more effectively.  Multiple invoices, vendors, contracts, rates, departments and locations make it extremely difficult to create a complete cohesive set of telecom information.  By using Optelcon’s solutions, Candid will be able to create a multi-country, central repository of all of their client’s telecom information.  By centralizing this information Candid and its clients can share information and make solid business decisions based on a more complete picture of the client’s telecom environment.  One of the advantages of Optelcon’s technology is that it was designed with partners like Candid in mind.  The combination our technology combined with Candid’s extensive industry knowledge will make a very effective solution.

“Candid, has been offering our clients a higher level of service, support and pricing to its enterprise clients.  By being able to offer and manage virtually every major telecom supplier, our clients are able to benefit from the best solution, while also benefiting from Candid’s centralized pricing, ordering and support capabilities.    After evaluating a number of major TEM company’s solutions, we chose to work with Optelcon.  One of the key factors in our decision was that Optelcon has the most complete set of TEM products under one platform.  Due to the large number of acquisitions in the TEM space, many of the other bigger companies were essentially a loose group of individual companies using the same name.  Optelcon allows us one point of contact, one company and one suite of services.  In addition, Optelcon is a completely vendor neutral information system first and foremost.  By using their systems, we can maintain total neutrality with our recommendations for savings and consulting analysis, albeit with more complete centralized information”.  Said Joseph Dix; the President, CEO and founder of Candid Business Solutions.

“Optelcon is very excited about working with Candid Business Solutions.  Our strategy of creating this type of relationship enables both Candid and Optelcon to create a more expanded and embedded relationship with its enterprise clients.  Through this relationship, Optelcon is able to provide Candid with business opportunities which will enhance our client services.  In addition, Optelcon will benefit from the client relation which Candid has built over the years.  This is a very synergistic relationship.  Candid can focus on providing their knowledge, expertise and services to their clients while we can focus on continually improving our technology to support their growth.  Because the success of Candid directly impacts our success, our goals are firmly aligned”,  said Robert Pommer, CEO and Founder of Optelcon.
