| OS encription? |
|
| Hello,
I`m new here and I hope this is the right place to put my question cos is about PC security.
The company that I'm working for want to buy an encryption software (we found on Google about CompuSec, DiskProtect, DriveCrypt Plus Pack...) to fully encrypt the OS partition and protect our sensitive data on PC`s. I would like to know if someone here has any idea about this softwares are they OK? What would be better? We are running on Win XP Professional OS. A reliable customer support is also a must.
A quick answer will be appreciated.
Thank you. |

Hello Manuela,
I've tested Drive Crypt Plus Pack, as a matter of fact I use it on a daily basis. It's a very good software and quite unique, in my opinion. The encryption algorithms are very strong. I never encountered problems with it and I am very satisfied. Someone specified that they lost their data while using this soft - well you have the option to create an emergency disk for cases like this. I took the liberty to present you with some of the main features of this soft that helped me so much, just to clarify your doubts ;)
1. Boot protection
2. Pre-Boot authentication: Login before starting the operating system
3. Multiple OS boot support (Microsoft)
4. Invisible operating system (possibility to hide the entire operating system)
5. Full or partial hard disk encryption
6. Sector level protection
I hope this helped,
Cheers! |

Hello,
Thank you for your response it is useful for me. I`ll check the trial version but I really wish to have some opinions about the other software I mentioned to be able to choose the right one.
Thank you again.
