"The Midway is a frequently-updated web magazine filled with puns, satire, witty observations on the nature of life, and lots of other garbage. Working around the clock (a small Timex digital that somebody dropped last month and nobody's bothered to pick up yet), we keep you as misinformed about your world, life, and entertainment as possible . . ." http://www.themidway.net
Mystical Matthew's Wacky World
A high school junior created this humor website with lots of jokes, entertainment, weird but interesting facts, and an online magic trick. He designed his own computer programs which are available to download as freeware. In addition to the jokes, there is a saxophone section, and a tribute to his yellow cat "Nermal". http://www.richnet.net/~mystical
AmericanaFunz
This website is a collection of 19th century American humor written by humorists of the Victorian era. Jokes, "odd bits o' wit," puns, parodies, funny stories and poems, humorous quotations, and cartoons bring back to life this simpler era. Much of the humor is a good commentary on the human condition even today, over a hundred years later. http://www.americanafunz.com

Here you can find news, reviews, recommended links, and comic relief for those who are nervous about the proliferation of new technology and the rapid changes it brings. http://www.ludditereader.com
Glen Lachart, Scotland
This is the website for the small Scottish village of Glen Lachart. You would think this was another sleepy little West Highland town, but it seems to be home to many exciting events. You can read about them in The Glen Lachart Star newspaper: "Christ Found! in Potato!", "Local Woman Falls Over", "Madman Runs Amok!" To get to know Glen Lachart and its 67 residents, you can visit the town hall, the Pig and Bicycle pub, Tailor's shop, the golf course, and other hangouts. If you find unfamiliar words in the forums you may need lessons in the Highland tongue, also available here. Among their many activities, the residents of Glen Lachart are engaged in making a feature film - The Curse of the Bogwomen. http://www.glenlachart.co.uk
PAW! - The Pit of Advertising Wonders

NetSerfs
If you are overworked and underpaid, feeling ignored, maltreated, and exploited, you will appreciate the NetSerfs. You think you have it bad; they have it worse. They are at the bottom of the heap. They must slave all day, knowing when they have outlived their usefulness they will be eaten by a giant electric eel named Megawattie. Yet in spite of their situation, the NetSerfs still have spunk, humor, and the spirit to rebel. A visit to their world provides a few moments away from the rat race to relax and chuckle. This animation strip features bright colors, high detail, and appealing characters, yet requires no plug-ins to enjoy it.

Lawyer Jokes

Groupie Central
All music fans know what groupies are, but how often do you get a chance to
read the real dirt? Groupie Central (http://www.groupiecentral.com) contains tons of
submitted anecdotes in bulletin-board format about pop stars past and
present: who's best and least endowed (I'll spare you the suspense: Huey
Lewis and Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day, respectively), who smells
bad, who offers cab fare afterward, who likes to hit women, and who has
substance abuse-related "performance" problems. The site offers an
alternately amusing and depressing glimpse inside a subculture that the
entertainment industry likes to pretend doesn’t exist.
Laughsend.com
Laughsend.com will undoubtedly suffer from comparisons
to The Onion (it share's the latter's theme of amusing fabricated news
stories), but it's got some chuckles of its own. Some recent sample
headlines from this British site: "Planet of the Apes Movie Further Confuses
Teenager," "George Lucas Unmasked As Renegade Space Historian." OK, so it's
got some ground to make up. What's endearing about the non-profit site is
that it consists entirely of reader submissions, so budding comic writers
will find it most interesting.
