Alert-IPO!
This website offers a free online directory of companies about to go public. The directory is a compilation of weekly summary reports of IPOs for the public to access. Alert-IPO! will send daily emails to subscribers with key points from all IPO-related SEC filings, generally within 24 or 48 hours of the filing. Alert-IPO! also posts for free a weekly list of new SEC IPO filings, including those companies not listed on major stock exchanges. A searchable IPO database and an online "How To" book in IPO investing are coming in the near future. Women and Money
The thinking and management styles of women entrepreneurs differ in some ways from those of men, according to an article from the Economic Justice and Empowerment Monthly Report. Women business owners tend to emphasize intuitive thinking, are more likely to deliberate before making a decision, consult others more often, and define success differently. However, women and men both have "styles of success." Finfacts is a site which focuses on Irish business and finance, but also has a wealth of international financial and business resources. Look here for daily business news and reports (both text and audio), interest rates, currencies and stock indices, fund performances, and tax information. Especially useful are a handy currency converter, an international salary calculator, and links to local time and weather sites. In addition, find good buys, price exchange information, motor vehicle information, wines and restaurants, financial products, computers, and books.
