WEATHER
My-Cast
My-Cast is a new kind of Internet weather resource. This weather site offers precise, customized weather forecasts, helping guide plans for travel and outdoor activities by zeroing in on a specific neighborhood, park, golf course, etc. My-Cast's computer models take U.S. regional weather observation data and funnel it down for an audience of one. Users receive pinpoint personal forecasts that are based on four-mile grids in major metro areas and updated at least eight times per day. Outside of metropolitan areas, forecasts are based on an 11-mile grid. (National Weather Service forecasts use a 20-mile grid and are updated half as often.) In addition, there are maps with satellite and radar pictures, advisories, and warnings. http://www.My-Cast.com
