Mechanicsburg, PA (PRWEB) November 30, 2011
Technical Service Associates, Inc., d/b/a Puridiom, today announced that Albert Jacobs, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, has been appointed to the board of directors for Mid-Penn Motion (MPM). MPM is the premier AAU Basketball Club of Central Pennsylvania and a charter member of the National Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). The organization provides an outlet for talented basketball players, aged 10 -17, from all areas of Central Pennsylvania to elevate their game during the scholastic off-season by participating in a highly competitive environment against others of similar talent and desire.
Mr. Jacobs, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, is a highly regarded business professional and software executive with over 25 years of experience. As an individual who participated in scholastic sports in his earlier years, had children who were involved in sports and competitive All-Star organizations, has been President of a non-profit men’s church softball league for more than 17 years, and is a true sports enthusiast, these were a few of the qualities that predicated his appointment to the Mid-Penn Motion Board of Directors.
“I am honored to join such a great organization and serve with others committed to the development of our young men and ladies as they pursue their passion for basketball and grow as athletes, individuals, and future leaders in our community,” said Al Jacobs. “I hope my contributions, experiences, and energy will serve the basketball youth of Central Pennsylvania well and help an already great organization achieve new heights.”
Mid-Penn Motion is led by an all volunteer Board of Directors and coaching staff. The board of directors meets once a month year-round to discuss the club’s future directions and ways to continue to promote its teams.
