The American Cancer Society and its Trailblazer sponsor Others First is pleased to announce the 10th Anniversary of the Cattle Baron’s Ball on September 29, 2012 presented by Ford Motor Company. The evening event will included a private, unplugged performance by Toby Keith as well as a strolling supper. Mr. Maurice Banks, President of Charity Car Brokers, who attended last year’s event, stated “the highlight for me was the 2.6 seconds I spent riding on the mechanical bull.”
Others First, is a non-profit charity founded by Mr. David Kennedy, which has assisted hundreds of charities through its widely successful car donation programs. One of Others First missions is to raise funds to help fight cancer through its Cars Fighting Cancer program. Others First also provides assistance through numerous other programs such as, Cars Helping Veterans, Cars Helping Pets, Cars for Christ, Cars for Research, Cars to Help Kids, and Mikie’s Minutes, all of which can be found on the organizations website, OthersFirst.us.
“We are pleased to have Others First back again this year as a major sponsor of the Cattle Baron’s Ball” states Jill Elder, Senior Executive Director for the American Cancer Society Great Lakes Division. Ms. Elder also noted that Mr. Rick Frazier, who has managed car charities for the past twenty years as President of Charity Funding, was given the “best dressed” award at last year’s event. The American Cancer Society is accredited by the BBB, Better Business Bureau.
