The Yankee Group report describes AT&T’s multitude of connected device subscriptions, strong partnerships, and innovation centers as strengths of its M2M strategy.  AT&T is driving wireless capabilities into a wide variety of physical systems beyond traditional handsets, with the goal of enhancing its customers’ business productivity.  The total number of emerging devices connected to the AT&T network, including postpaid and prepaid embedded computing devices for both consumers and businesses is nearly 11 million.
