Baby Boomers Take to the Internet for Their Caregiving Needs and Use Websites like More and More

(PRWEB) August 08, 2012

Baby Boomers have been taking to the internet by storm. The 50 and older population spend nearly $7 billion a year on the internet. The Baby boomer's account for around 10% of USA's population. Every year that 10% will increasingly go to the internet to buy from internet eCommerce websites.

Especially for home medical supplies for incontinence, mobility, and safety products. Not only for themselves but a large amount for their parents as baby boomers are caregiving for thier parents.

Places like offer all of those products all in one place and it makes it easy to order with just a click of a button. If you've noticed that when you go to a brick and mortor type of store the selection of home medical supplies and incontinence products is limited to just a few different products, and often those types of products have to be shipped from another location anyway making it very time consuming.

Over the last five years baby boomers and seniors over the age of 65 have had the chance to get involved in The Apple Workshop which teaches people how to use a computer and of course was created by one of the greatest from the baby boomer generation the late Steve Jobs who was quoted in saying a large percentage of people going to the Apple Workshop were seniors.

The founder of says "The baby boomers are the caregiver's of their parents, a large percentage of baby boomers work during the day so ordering incontinence products and mobility aids online saves so much time."

Many of the baby boomers have the hard job of caring for their parents and also working during the day.

Some are fortunate enough to have a home aid during the day to make sure there are no accidents, but it is a full time job.
