BoutiqueAccessories.com.au, along with its innovative and unique online shopping application, the Virtual Mirror, was recently the subject of a live demo on Channel 7’s morning show, Sunrise.
The Virtual Mirror was featured on a segment about Virtual Shopping where Tech Expert Val Quinn from the Gadget Group, and Fashion Commentator Melissa Hoyer, outlined the application as the future of online shopping.
Val Quinn did a live demo of the Virtual Mirror, trying on two pairs of earrings while Melissa Hoyer gave opinion on the new virtual shopping experience. “There are so many good things happening now online, it really does have to have that point of difference, and I think this certainly does” said Hoyer.
The segment reflects Boutique Accessories’ mission to improve the online shopping experience and bring it closer to that of a real high street shopping experience. Women who wish to buy earrings, necklaces or bracelets online can now see how the jewellery will look on them before handing over their credit card details. Customers can experience trying on designer fashion accessories with any outfit in the comfort of their own home.
One thing holding back online shopping in the fashion sector is that there has not been, until now, a substitute for trying things on to check that they are suitable. A customer will not really know exactly how an item will look on until it arrives in the post. The Virtual Mirror is now changing all of that, and the recent coverage of the Boutique Accessories Virtual Mirror from TV shows and Magazines clearly reflects that online customers are embracing new and innovative applications which help the online shopping process.
Sunrise is airs to an average of 400,000 viewers each morning (Source: OzTAM, TV Networks reports) and Founder Claire Anstee was delighted to be featured on the popular Channel 7 show. “We are so glad that people are interested in the Virtual Mirror, it’s the first in Australia so it’s a great honour to be leading the way in online shopping and for our Virtual Mirror to be labelled as ‘the future of online shopping’.” said Anstee.
