BPMethods’ Business Process Assessment Service
The assessment targets a department, group or business function and "takes inventory" of its various business processes to identify and classify them as assets. Each process is then evaluated across 10 quality dimensions to determine the value and/or risk they create. A single "core" or "problematic" process is selected and documented, capturing critical details needed to manage change using The BP Portfolio Manager – a Microsoft Access 2007 database developed by BPMethods to initiate and run continuous improvement programs. Next, an "As-Is" high-level diagram of the selected process is created in Microsoft Visio to examine options for improvement. An IT Readiness Assessment of the system(s) used to execute the process then measures the time, effort, costs and feasibility of process change. Analysis is performed and the findings and recommendations are documented and presented.
