Rubenstein joins etouches after serving as Chief Executive Officer and founding partner of Axiom Education. "I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join etouches," stated Rubenstein. "In my 30 year career, I’ve never seen the combination that I see in etouches: a huge market without a clear leader, a technical vision that is leading the industry, a refreshingly positive corporate culture and a management team that is both talented and passionate. I wanted to join this team help them assurance that etouches’ cloud infrastructure would continue to remain scalable and secure during this period of rapid growth. etouches is renowned for its customer service and I want to make sure that same level of quality and confidence continues to define its cloud services delivery model."
Rubenstein’s career has seen stints at several start-ups as well as large, multinational corporations. Recently he has been consulting with Microsoft’s largest independent software vendors (ISVs) on the cloud services business model. "Software companies consistently look at cloud services as a technical issue and focus their energies on moving their solutions to a cloud infrastructure," explained Rubenstein. "What they are missing is the fact that cloud services represent an entirely new business model which addresses the emergent behavioral model that now dominates the corporate world – that of the web centric user. Web centric users go to the web as a primary source of information and services, both in their personal and professional lives. Understanding this behavior and how to service the needs of these users in a web centric way, throughout the customer lifecycle, is critical for success in the cloud. This new behavioral model is one of the many reasons we have seen exponential growth in the adoption of cloud services solutions such as those provided by etouches. I believe the vast events market is being significantly impacted by the role of the web centric user and I am excited to offer my experience and expertise to etouches’ work in this area."
