One of the challenges facing new technologies in the highly competitive and infrastructure-intense industry of clean energy is the lack of connectivity between top-level solutions and the test beds that can prove and adopt them. Leveraging the Department of Defense’s long history as a proving ground for innovation, the Defense Energy Technology Challenge will bring together technology companies with the military partners seeking new clean energy solutions.

In addition to the presentation to the military panel and direct feedback they provide, selected finalists will have the opportunity to meet and network with additional potential partners and customers in attendance including Lockheed Martin, AECOM, SAIC, the Hawaiian Electric Company, Sempra Generation, and Alstom.
