Hong Kong (PRWEB) November 08, 2011
Lumichip Limited today announced a new range of products including upgrades to its Aurorics series of LED components as well as the completely new Chip-on-Board (COB) Solaris product range.
Lumichip’s Aurorics series is augmented with low thermal resistance and small footprint PLCC SMD packages. The new 5630 LED is mainly targeted for general lighting applications and the existing Aurorics’ NOAH series will now include high CRI and 2W LED cousins to the existing products. The NOAH LEDs continue to utilize special multi-epi die packaging technology. Due to the package design, the NOAH has a high luminous flux output with the latest bins producing LOP up to 130lm/W. The NOAH LEDs can provide special spectrums based on customer requirements including TruSun™ visible solar spectrum simulating LED or even further spectrum optimized devices for agricultural, industrial or machine-vision applications.
New COB products: Initially, two new versions of Solaris COB components will be released and will come as 6W and 12W products that typically produce 400-700lm and 700-1300lm respectively. The Solaris COBs are targeted mainly for general lighting applications such as spot lights, bulbs, down lights and high power flood lights. The components have very low thermal resistance which improve the thermal heat management and delivers an easy luminaire construction platform for lighting developers and manufacturers.
