fiteBac™ SkinCare, LLC Gives Cancer Patients a Reason to Smile

Marietta, GA (PRWEB) January 24, 2012

fiteBac™ SkinCare, LLC, of Marietta, GA, joins the fight against cancer with its recent donation to Loving Arms Cancer Outreach in Kennesaw, GA. fiteBac has donated a supply of its Germicidal Hand Softening Gel, a unique, alcohol-free hand sanitizer that helps reduce the transmission of pathogenic microorganisms while also helping to keep hands soft and hydrated. Chemotherapy patients will have the opportunity to try this revolutionary new product at the Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers.

Diana Hurst and Shamichael Traylor, R.N., founded Loving Arms Cancer Outreach to provide education and support to cancer patients and their families. The center currently hosts a support group that meets once a month. In addition, Loving Arms organizes and hosts various community activities and fundraisers, including Christmas bake sales, memorial rallies, and the upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Valentine’s Day event. Loving Arms’ overall purpose, according to Hurst and Traylor, is to “instill hope and joy” in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

fiteBac SkinCare joins Loving Arms in that purpose with its donation of fiteBac SkinCare Germicidal Hand Softening Gel. This hand sanitizer gel is designed to encourage and improve hand hygiene compliance in medical and hospital settings. fiteBac SkinCare products help reduce the transmission of pathogenic microorganisms, but, unlike traditional alcohol-based hand sanitizers, which can be extremely harsh on skin, fiteBac’s unique and revolutionary alcohol-free formulation helps skin stay moisturized and velvety-soft, even after frequent hand washing or exposure to gloves. Cancer patients should find great relief in fiteBac’s excellent skin-soothing properties. “The first time I put it on, the first word out of my mouth was ‘Wow,'” says Sheila Follett, a former chemotherapy patient who picked up the hand gel on behalf of Loving Arms. Follett says her chemotherapy experience left her wanting for antibacterial products that would not dry out or damage her skin. Then she discovered fiteBac’s hand gel. “When I tested fiteBac [Germicidal Hand Softening Gel], I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I wish I would have known about this from the day I started chemo,'” Follett says. Follett appreciates fiteBac’s hand gel for “the feel of it, not even the scientific side of it. It made my skin feel real satiny; it absorbs right away!” Follett believes other people in the cancer community will share her enthusiasm for fiteBac’s product. When others try it, Follett says, “[They are] just going to be blown away.”

About fiteBac™ SkinCare, LLC and KHG: fiteBac SkinCare, LLC is a subsidiary company of Kimmerling Holdings Group, LLC (“KHG”), a Georgia-based biotech company that has developed an antimicrobial platform intellectual property technology. KHG was founded in 2009 by Kirk Kimmerling, DDS, Marietta Dentist and Dan Kearney. The two set out to create products that would “change the world, one product at a time.” Kirk and Dan first targeted bacterial issues in dentistry, knowing that solving those problems would lead to dramatic improvements in oral health, and more importantly, systemic bodily health. They engaged a team of highly accomplished chemists and scientists retired from Fortune 500 companies and researchers from major universities. In doing so, KHG has developed technology with several patents pending that has application well beyond dental materials and has exciting potential in medical, plastic, composite, coating, and other applications that are in various stages of development. fiteBac SkinCare Hand Softening Gel is the first product to be released under the fiteBac brand name.
