FreeWave will be demonstrating its FGR2 Series radios, along with its versatile HTPlus and I/O Expansion modules in the conference’s Technology and Solutions Center (Booth #55 & #56). FreeWave’s FGR2 Series of wireless radios offer superior noise filtering and interference handling, are capable of accurately transmitting data up to 60 miles, and offer the lowest power consumption in the industry. The HTPlus is a leap forward for customers who need an industrial grade, high-speed Ethernet radio that operates in harsh environments and noisy RF conditions. FreeWave’s I/O Expansion modules are ideal for condition-based monitoring applications and enable real time automated monitoring and control of smart grid assets, such as circuit breakers and power transformers.
In addition, Goldman also will be presenting "Wireless Communications for Distribution Automation" as part of the conference’s technical program. During his presentation, Goldman will review how FreeWave Technologies’ radio transceivers are used to effectively deploy distribution automation in the Smart Grid without any hardwiring in the infrastructure.
