Genre Fluid Artist K’coneil “Finessed” His Way to #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts

Brooklyn, NY, October 31, 2019 –(– The genre-fluid recording artist K’coneil [@thekconeil] has a lot to be grateful for as his latest dancehall single “Finesse and Style” soared to the #1 spot on the iTunes Reggae Chart. While the song has become a big street hit among hardcore dancehall fans, it soon went into heavy rotation among the local platforms and at dance parties in NYC. The song initially debuted #5 on the iTunes Reggae Chart when it first came out on August 2 and was well-received.

The catchy single brings a new school vibe with witty punchlines and an old school bounce. K’coneil usually serenades his doting female listeners with his sensual songs with a blend of his hardcore style. The reggae crooner credits the devoted fanbase that has been showing him much support from the start of his career. Now that his fan base has grown even more, and hitting number one on iTunes Chart now fuels his determination to keep working towards his goals.

The Jamaican born, New York-based artist, is no stranger to chart-topping success. K’coneil has been steadily advancing his career over the past few years. After releasing his debut EP Love/Lust in 2016, K’coneil received a JUNO award nomination and an International Reggae World Music Awards nomination for his collaboration “Love How You Whine” with Canadian singer/actress Kreesha Turner. He followed that up with a string of hit releases including three #1 videos (Hot Like You, Feel So Right and Loving You Right) as well as the 2018 hit song “Balance,” a collaboration with afrobeat star Stonebwoy, that quickly shot past 1.1 million views on YouTube, and a BET premiere for his 2019 single “BODI.”
