ShiftPlanning, When I Work Scheduling, and PARIM lead GetApp’s Q3 ranking of cloud-based Workforce Management solutions.
(PRWEB) October 27, 2015
GetApp, the largest cloud-based business software marketplace, has launched its Q3 GetRank of the top 25 Workforce Management solutions, with ShiftPlanning, When I Work Scheduling, and PARIM at the top of the list.
The GetRank score for each app was calculated using data obtained from GetApp, along with information gathered from third-party sources. Information used to calculate an app’s GetRank score include user reviews, integrations, mobile support, online media presence, and security. The ranking will be updated every quarter to reflect newly available data.
The goal is to provide valuable data to companies who are looking to make a first assessment when choosing an HR software, including for Workforce Management.
Workforce management encompass everything needed to manage a large workforce, such as those found in call centers. One of the key software trends for workforce management in 2015 is self-service, with companies looking to do much of the implementation work themselves as opposed to having to rely on the vendor to implement their solution.
“Since vendors are spending more R&D effort in simplifying implementation and configuration processes, the timeframes from vendor selection to pilot go-live are becoming increasingly short (thus providing business benefits much earlier). We’ve seen some implementations go live within 2-3 months, which would have been unheard of even 18-24 months ago,” says Yuri Margoulis, Director at workforce management consultancy firm, WorkForce Delta. Margoulis is one of five expert contributors to GetApp’s quarterly report identifying software trends in the HR space.
The Q3 GetRank for Workforce Management software is available now, as is the accompanying research report, HR in the Cloud: Key Trends for 2015, which is free to download.
