Gomif Partners, an early stage investment advisory network, will launch startup VC funding Accelerator’17 in Tokyo, Japan, January 9, 2017. At launch, the Tokyo startup hub completes the firm’s global network rollout, which included the launch of a new fund raising plan in London on December 9th.
The new startup investment program, along with those local to Singapore, New York and London, can all be accessed by startup prospects connected to any of the locations.
The Tokyo startup hub will be supported by local advisory firms with access to VC funding and business network.

From 2014 to 2015, venture capital funding raised in Japan doubled, from around $1 billion to $2 billion, and more young Japanese are approaching the start-up world as a prestigious alternative to the country’s corporate sector.
Earlier this month, the socialpreneur-focused startup accelerator, announced the soft-launch of its Accelerator’17 program in Singapore. Startups can apply to be part of the program starting from November 30, with the accelerator beginning in the early part of January 2017. Gomif and its advisors will mentor the winning companies and help them enhance their business plans and products. As a part of the partnership, Gomif will also pick up equity stake in these companies.
