Hivemyne Acquires AskMe Social Business Software in Management Buyout of Realcom U.S.

Hivemyne was formed by Realcom U.S. executives to pursue the management buyout. Under the terms of the agreement, Hivemyne acquires the AskMe product, patents and customer relationships.

Hivemyne will continue to provide service and support to current Realcom U.S. clients as well as market and sell AskMe. In addition to traditional perpetual licensing and deployment on enterprise systems, Hivemyne intends to make AskMe available for deployment as a subscription service in the cloud or on a network appliance.

David Wachter

Hivemyne is led by Holland, an executive in numerous startups including InfoMove, Teletronics Management Services, and Nexus Cellular, and Wachter, the former COO of Realcom U.S. with marketing, product and executive leadership experience at T-Mobile, Motorola and multiple startups.
