I tried this and it did not work. The main reasons are as follows:
1. Customer Service was very bad. It took over 20 minutes to get a person to talk to and another 15 to explain my situation.
2. The Cancellation process was also very laborious and time consuming.
3. The system works as such: You buy the printer and you pay for x number of pages ( this was not explained right when I bought the machine) You are eligible for the ink purchase free of charge for the first six months and after that you have to purchase the ink at a lower price. You will still be required to pay for the excess pages at all times or your printer becomes obsolete.
Users, Beware that you have to pay for ink and got excess pages which in my opinion are not a good idea. Yes, you do have a peace of mind but it is not financially a good plan. I hope seniors and retirees do not fall into this trap.
