IAMEVE is a singer, songwriter and storyteller who merges electronic music and visual imagery. IAMEVE has been described by the Huffington Post as “if Alice took Ziggy Stardust’s hand and followed him down the rabbit hole to a world guided by the twists and turns of ethereal and colorful vocals.” IAMEVE’s song “To Feel Alive” was featured in the soundtrack film “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.” Her music has also been featured in such shows as “Ray Donovan”, “Masters of Sex”, “Arrow”, “Flash” and “The Fosters” to name a few.
The “Starman” single and video launched in October, which tells the story of two soulmates who are reunited in a multi-dimensional plane of existence.
“Starman” was co-produced with David Christophere of the classic electronic music outfit Rabbit In The Moon, and the video was directed by Thor Freudenthal (Percy Jackson, Diary of A Wimpy Kid). “I love creating worlds on film, so when Eve suggested working with Michael Rosner’s body art as part of her project The Everything Nothing, I saw an opportunity to literally paint a world from scratch,” says Thor Freudenthal. The video’s Starman is played by Keon Alexander, renown actor on FX’s show Tyrant. The video features IAMEVE painted in sacred geometry art by body artist Michael Rosner. The “Starman” video premiered at the Flux Film Festival at UCLA’s Hammer Museum, and has been featured on Baeble, FreeIndie, Hunnypot, buzzbands.la, Mondomedusah, OffWorlders and Scenester.TV.
“Starman” is part of a sci-fantasy transmedia fairy tale called The Everything Nothing, about creation, fractured identity, and transcending physical form. View the video at http://iameveami.com/. To support The Everything Nothing project, go to https://www.patreon.com/iameveami.
