IContact Extends its Commitment to Social & Environmental Responsibility

About iContact’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program

iContact formalized its corporate responsibility program in 2010 and created a dedicated position to manage the program. iContact also became a "B Corporation," meaning that a business meets specific standards of transparency in financial, social and environmental performance.

The four facets of the program include:

  • 1% of payroll contributed by employees to 501(c)(3) non-profits
  • 1% of employee time in paid time off to volunteer.
  • 1% of product free to North Carolina non-profits.
  • 1% of company equity to the iContact Foundation for further charitable pursuits.

(iContact’s founders pledged 100,000 shares of the company’s equity to the foundation, which will be established in 2011.)
