- Achieving a 67% higher rate of cost savings on contingent labor spending.
- Experiencing an 83% higher increase in total efficiency as a direct result of improving contingent workforce program attributes.
- Maintaining a 60% higher frequency of temporary workers meeting or exceeding pre-defined objectives.
More than half of all study participants indicated visibility into contingent workforce management remains their top priority in 2012. Of those participants who had achieved Best-in-Class status, 89% use a vendor management system (VMS), further stressing the importance of implementing a sound VMS solution, like IQNavigator to provide the foundation companies need to obtain full visibility, efficiency and control over their contingent workforce and Statement of Work (SOW) programs.
“With nearly 26% of the average organization’s workforce considered contingent, it is crucial for companies to leverage effective solutions to gain the necessary visibility and control over this category,” says Christopher J. Dwyer, senior analyst, Aberdeen. “VMS technology has emerged as the top Best-in-Class solution for effectively managing the complexities of the modern contingent workforce umbrella.”
“We are pleased to be a key sponsor of Aberdeen’s CWM study again this year,” said Lou Andreozzi, chief executive officer and president of IQNavigator. “Aberdeen found less than 25% of enterprises are using a single, centralized vendor management system, such as IQNavigator, and showed how imperative it has become to manage the entire spectrum of purchased services – including SOW-based services – within a single system of record around the world to optimize program benefits.”
