ISG Passes $10 Billion Milestone in Managed Services

STAMFORD, Conn. April 24, 2012 $10 billion

ISG Managed Services, which provides post-contract governance to help organizations realize the full value anticipated from their sourcing agreements, passed the milestone earlier this month with the addition of a global biotechnology company to its list of valued clients.

The unit, which ISG launched three years ago, now helps manage relationships with more than 70 different service providers and counts among its clients global leaders in the automotive, transportation, software and logistics sectors, among others.

In February, ISG Managed Services launched Consumption Management to help enterprises address the challenge of IT asset management and reconciliation. Last year, it launched GS Essentials, a cost-effective governance services solution for clients with smaller or less complex outsourcing portfolios to manage.

ISG Managed Services typically costs 15 to 25 percent less than managing outsourcing governance internally, and clients average additional hard savings of 10 percent of their annual contract value and additional soft savings of nearly 6 percent.
