iRoc is a revolutionary hardware platform providing a low cost alternative to OEM factory installed infotainment systems for the motor vehicle aftermarket, while enabling in-vehicle Internet connectivity. iRoc replaces the existing radio and provides a unique customer experience, utilizing the iPhone as the hub of the information ecosystem. Users simply enter their vehicle, slide their iPhone into the iRoc docking system, and continue with their life … connected. There are no additional mounting devices, adapters or wires required, and no new user interface to learn.
Behind the scenes, iRoc provides the complete infotainment system, including iPhone charging, internet connectivity, streaming audio and video, stored music and movies, plus use of all 3rd party APPs, such as GPS navigation.
By downloading the free iRocEQ from the App store, users can configure their in-vehicle sound system with visual control over Treble, Mid, Bass, Sub and Volume. In addition to basic tone control, iRocEQ gives you access to advanced settings like Output Phase, Cutoff and Center Frequency, as well as Fade/Balance and whether or not to send video to external screens.
iRoc is also configured to work with the iPad. An iPad adapter is currently in development.
