"The CMO position was created as part of our strategic growth initiative that is adding management depth and talent at CSI that will help us shape our future and accelerate our growth momentum going forward.  A key goal of our strategic growth initiative is to maximize synergies and consolidate individual areas of expertise at CSI in order to create a more seamless organization going forward.  Kedran’s experience in managing marketing programs across a multi-subsidiary company will be an important asset as we grow our existing product lines and services and leverage our enterprise-wide opportunities to cross-sell products.

"She also has significant experience in corporate branding and was responsible for a successful consolidation of subsidiary names under one master brand.  We believe her experience in this area will be valuable to CSI as we continue to merge business units and make acquisitions of complementary businesses and technology," concluded Powless.

Whitten has over 19 years of experience in advertising, marketing, product management, and branding.  Prior to joining CSI, she was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Management for Comdata Corporation, a leading provider of business-to-business payment solutions.  She has extensive experience in developing and executing corporate marketing strategies, managing product development strategies, implementing customer feedback programs, market research, and management of cross-functional teams.  Whitten has launched successful e-Commerce initiatives and developed marketing strategies for complex Internet products. She also brings significant experience in developing key measurements of marketing including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, brand awareness, product pricing, and positioning.
