Knowledge Infusion is off and Running For Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry Charity

MInneapolis, MN (PRWEB) November 11, 2011

For the third consecutive year Knowledge Infusion, a world-class human resources consulting firm, will be participating in the Big Sur Half Marathon and a Ride by the Sea Bike Ride on November 20, 2011 in Monterey, CA, and has chosen the Share our Strength – No Kid Hungry charity to support as part of their effort.

Share our Strength – No Kid Hungry is a national non-profit that is ending childhood hunger in America. The organization’s highest priority is to make sure every child in America gets the nutritious food he or she needs to learn, grow, and thrive. They are doing this by improving the access that families all across the country have to healthy, affordable food by working at the state and city level.

“Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry is a great cause that we at Knowledge Infusion fully stand behind. Ensuring children receive solid meals and the proper nutrition to grow and prosper is a cause we fully support and is the reason we directed our philanthropic efforts to support an organization that can make this happen,” said Neil Jensen, Vice President and Managing Consultant at Knowledge Infusion.

“Knowledge Infusion employees, customers, and partners will come together to run the race, spend time with family and friends, and most importantly – to raise money for a very good cause,” said Jason Averbook, Knowledge Infusion CEO. “We have raised over $20,000 in the past three years for various charities from this event, and have an ambitious goal this year of raising $10,000 for Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry. We invite you to take part of the No Kid Hungry team by making a donation and taking the No Kid Hungry pledge.”

Knowledge Infusion’s mission at the very core is to give back to the community and this event is another part of the organization’s ongoing focus on the company’s culture. The Knowledge Infusion Philanthropy Program is a company-wide volunteer program which coordinates community service activities and fundraising events, and supports Knowledge Infusion’s efforts to team with charities, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions around the world to support innovative programs.
