Los Angeles, CA, July 03, 2019 –(–, a division of, announces the release of “Introduction to 360/VR,” part of their ongoing PowerUp Webinar Series. Filmmakers have heard of “virtual reality (VR)” for years. But, what is it? Is it a threat or opportunity? And what do media professionals need to know today to get started in VR?

360/VR is one of three categories of VR and the one that will be most accessible to traditional filmmakers. While 360/VR won’t replace traditional storytelling, it can create some amazing experiences.

“This title grew out of conversations in my weekly podcast, ‘Digital Production Buzz,’” said Larry Jordan, Executive Producer for “As I spoke with many experts, trying to understand VR, I began to realize that we were looking at VR the wrong way. While I remain skeptical of using VR to tell stories, I am increasingly convinced there is a solid opportunity for people that know how to create traditional media to leverage their knowledge into creating powerful experiences with VR.”

Using a Vuze 360 VR camera as an example, this training focuses on providing an overview of VR technology, the benefits and limitations of VR, media management, shooting and processing a 360° image, then illustrating how to edit VR footage in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Apple Final Cut Pro X.

“Underlying all of Larry Jordan’s training,” said Steven Roth, President of, “is his ability to tie leading-edge technology into helping creative artists improve their job skills and attract clients. In these competitive days, having something new to offer clients is always a good idea.”

“Introduction to 360/VR” Price: $19.97
