Gypsyware’s Pork Barrel 1.5 is a game that allows you to play “fantasy president.” As virtual president, you create a budget, allot funds to programs, and handle the problems that result. You have to stay within your budget and keep your popularity ratings high, while also dealing with whatever scandals or crises come along. (If your popularity ratings drop too low, you’ll also have to deal with assassins.) Minigames along the way will get you money or popularity points. The new version fixes bugs that caused freezes and crashes. The game requires OS 8.6 and costs $15. You can also download a hint book for $6.
