LONG BEACH, CA, July 09, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ — Macgo Deliver Better BluFast MX
Macgo has used the best of its technology and wisdom to create Mac Blu-ray Player, including the most outstanding hardware acceleration tech Macgo BluFast MX. In computing, hardware acceleration refers to the use of computer hardware to reduce the workload of CPU, especially in graphics processing. Macgo has focused on the independent R&D of image processing and audio/video codec technology to bring the world its first Blu-ray player software for Mac. The latest released Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player V2.15.0 and above has optimized its BluFast MX function to deliver more stable Blu-ray playback. Users can download it to try enhanced-version BluFast MX on Macgo official website now.
BluFast MX Features and Advantages
BluFast MX is designed for Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player in order to mainly lower Mac’s CPU usage, in this way, Blu-ray and other video formats’ playback will be more stable and fluent. By enabling this feature, the CPU usage can be reduced by 20-50% when playing a Blu-ray disc or file. For instance, it may take 70-100% of CPU to play a BD on a lower-end model MacBook when this features is disabled; it may be reduced to 20-50% by enabling it. If the user plays a DVD, the CPU usage will take up to 8.5%, but it will be lowered to 2.5% if he/she turns BluFast MX on. Other media formats’ playback can also be much more smoother with Macgo Hardware Acceleration technology. What’s more, it can reduce the energy consumption of user’ Mac to prolong its battery life.
Take “Big Hero 6” for an example, the CPU usage will go up to 77.8% when BluFast MX is off; When it’s on, the CPU usage will be reduced to around 22.1%. Also, when not using BluFast MX, the energy consumption is 74.8%; it will be reduced to 49.1% when the new feature’s on.

Users can follow the below steps to enable BluFast MX:
a. Download Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player and launch it.
b. Check the Top Menu.Click “Mac Blu-ray Player” _ “Preferences”.
c. Click “Video” to find “Enable Hardware Acceleration”.
d. Tick “Enable Hardware Acceleration” and click “OK”.
Unique Macgo Hardware Acceleration Tech
There’s another thing worth to be mentioned here. VLC Media Player also has Hardware Acceleration tech, but the Blu-ray they support mainly rely on other Blu-ray ripper software to remove AACS protection, which is the biggest difference from Macgo who has obtained the permission of issuing Blu-ray products from Blu-ray Disc Association. So VLC’s Hardware Acceleration won’t have that much big effect when users play Blu-ray, except for other media formats. Macgo BluFast MX only can be used on Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player for the time being. There’s still a lot to be done to perfect this feature. As long as Macgo R&D team finished improving BluFast MX on Mac models, this feature will soon be optimized on Windows operating system.
