In this role, Ms. Laurano will oversee the continuing development and evolution of the company’s highly regarded talent management technology consulting and thought leadership activity. This includes management of talent systems evaluation and selection services as well as oversight of industry monitoring, research, communications and presentations.
Ms. Laurano joined The Newman Group from Bersin & Associates, where she served as Principal Analyst of Talent Acquisition. Her areas of expertise include workforce planning, sourcing strategies, screening and assessments, RPO, employer branding, onboarding and talent management systems. Prior to joining Bersin, Ms. Laurano served as the Research Director for the Electronic Recruiting Exchange (ERE) Media where she created the ERE webinar series, published the Talent Acquisition Industry Analysis and Buyers Guide, led community discussion groups, and took on leadership and major contributor roles in research projects and development of services. Prior to ERE, she worked as a Research Analyst for the Aberdeen Group and Research Director for Linkage, Inc, where she co-edited Best Practices in Leading a Global Workforce and Secrets in Succession Planning.
