mailVU Announces Video Email App for Android

mailVU’s mobile app makes it easy to record events or venues and email the video immediately to a recipient. Videos are streamed to the recipients so there are no large video files to clog up inboxes. mailVU’s new Android app allows users to log into their online account to associate custom branding with their mobile video messages.

“mailVU’s mobile service can be used to record real estate, speakers, presentations, venues under consideration for meetings, and many other purposes,” said Alan Fitzpatrick, CEO of mailVU. “mailVU videos are converted to multiple formats and playable on virtually all web-enabled devices, not just Android devices but other smartphones and tablets including Apple iOS, Blackberry, and Windows operating systems.”

Recording and playing videos is traditionally impacted by the device and software – the sender doesn't know what format the recipient will be able to view. mailVU automatically detects device type and plays the appropriate format, without the user having to manually adjust formats.

mailVU’s Android app, along with our iPhone app, is free for users to download. Online service plans include free user accounts, a feature-rich business account plan, and private labeling for service providers and educational institutions. mailVU lets anyone experience a simple, effective way to record and send video messages to any web-enabled device.

To record and send a video message from your Android device, download mailVU’s app from the Android Market.
