Meadows & Ohly, led by Convene member Tom Rhodes, Chairman and President, was recently named one of the best workplaces in metro Atlanta by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
More than 1,000 companies were nominated or asked to participate in the 2012 contest by the Journal-Constitution and its partner, Workplace Dynamics. Over 43,500 metro workers participated in the workplace survey, conducted by Workplace Dynamics, that was used to determine the winners.
Meadows & Ohly, LLC, was judged to be one of the top five companies, with fewer than 149 employees, in the Atlanta Metro area.Founded in 1972, Meadows & Ohly is a leader in the highly specialized healthcare real estate arena of medical office buildings and outpatient facilities.
Mr. Rhodes credits his Convene membership with providing insight, fresh thinking and a group of peer advisors that have enabled Meadows & Ohly to grow, even in the face of difficult economic times.
“To position the company for profitable growth through this economic cycle, our leadership team worked through a detailed line by line budgeting process last year. The one line item that my partners felt was non-negotiable, however, was my Convene membership. The value my Convene team brings to our company pays dividends every month,” said Mr. Rhodes.
Founded in 1996, Convene is a dynamic community of Christian CEOs and business owners meeting together to help each other grow exceptional businesses, become high-impact leaders, and honor God through the principle of “iron sharpening iron.”
