MojoPages Awards competition heats up as voting for Best Hotel across the U.S. nears its end. Voting takes place in small cities to large metropolitan areas, with the most popular markets being Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, Orlando and San Diego. Final votes will be counted on Saturday, June 16th at midnight.
While users have one year to vote for their favorite business, competition tends to ramp up during the final weeks. Each week, MojoPages features a business category to award. Voters nominate businesses by browsing the site and writing reviews for their favorite places.
The more positive reviews a business receives, the higher its “Mojo” score is. Businesses with the highest “Mojo” score rise to the top. Credible reviews have a greater weight on the score than reviews with a questionable credibility. Businesses are then ranked from best to worst, with the top in a category receiving bragging rights as the MojoPages Award Winner.
