MONTROSE, California – January 18, 2012 – Montrose Travel, a $135 million full-service travel and host agency, has closed 2011 with another bang! With the travel industry in the upsurge of the pendulum, Montrose Travel has further soared above and beyond their goals. To mark their achievements and continued success, they held their annual Year-End Holiday Awards Party on December 3, 2011 at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California. The evening gala – which included great food, live entertainment, over 300 guests and an inspiring year-end video – presented the perfect setting to award and recognize individual employees and partners that have collectively helped this company become the incredible success that it is today.

Montrose Travel works with many partners throughout the year, and each year they recognize key partners that have gone above and beyond the call of duty. One of the most anticipated and respected awards of the evening is the naming of Montrose Travel’s annual Business and Supplier Partners of the Year.

The 2011 Business Partner of the Year was presented to Rearden Commerce for their excellent and continued support. “In twelve short months they’ve brought a number of large opportunities to our table. We just launched our first major pilot project with them at the end of November and have additional projects slated to launch in the 1st quarter of 2012. We deeply appreciate their friendship and look forward to seeing what the future holds”, said Joe McClure, President of Montrose Travel. Accepting the award on Rearden’s behalf was Todd Kaiser, Vice President Travel Products.

The company’s 2011 Supplier Partner of the Year was awarded to Travel Guard Insurance. “They stole us from a competitor three years ago with promises of unique products, financial upside and excellent support. From custom web development and accounting imports, to unique products and applications, they’ve delivered on all their promises”, said McClure. On stage to accept the award for TravelGuard was Bob Ford, Pam Ross and Daena Oczachowski.

The evening concluded with cocktails and dancing – a tribute to all the hard work and effort that went into making 2011 a successful year. The success of Montrose Travel is based on diligence, loyalty, and a sense of family. No one person can do it alone; it is the synergy of their employees and partners that continues to move Montrose Travel forward, and that is cause for celebration.
