NEI to Host Industry Leaders in Booth Presentations at RSA Conference 2011

CANTON, Mass. Feb. 9, 2011


NEI (Nasdaq: NEI), a leading provider of application platforms , deployment solutions and lifecycle support services for software technology developers and OEMs worldwide.


NEI will host a series of presentations from its technology partners, security solution providers, and industry analysts that will discuss cybersecurity market trends and solutions, and demonstrate new products for improved sophistication of network monitoring and strengthened protection against threats to the enterprise computing environment.

Jonathan Penn, vice president of Forrester Research, will present on adapting to the new IT security realities at NEI booth #2539. His presentations will discuss the evolving business and IT trends that are challenging the notion of tightly controlled assets within well-defined corporate boundaries, and how leading organizations are devising new ways to maximize the impact of their security controls to minimize business risk while enabling a more open IT environment.  Varied looks at adapted security practices that embrace the IT shift without sacrificing protection will be on both Tuesday, February 15 at 11:30 AM and again on Wednesday, February 16, at 11:30 AM .

Jim Greene, product marketing engineer in Intel’s Data Center Group, will discuss new data and platform protection technologies for servers that accommodate new computing models such as the cloud, as well as how they are used, and how benefits can be realized and measured on Tuesday, February 15 at 1:00 PM and again on Wednesday, February 16 at 2:00 PM.

Franklin Flint, enterprise technology evangelist at Dell , will explain the keys to understanding the server technology adoption curve to drive innovation and efficiency at OEMs on Tuesday, February 15, at 4:00 PM and again on Wednesday, February 16 at 3:00 PM.

Brian Girardi, vice president of product management at NetWitness , will detail a new approach to network monitoring that can provide pervasive network visibility, precise, real-time intelligence, and the agility to address security issues as the threat landscape continues to change on Tuesday, February 15 at 3:00 PM .

Jeff Rhodes, communications server sales manager at Kontron , will highlight a new rugged, purpose-built appliance designed for deep-packet inspection and IDS/IPS systems running applications that demand high performance computing power and extensive storage on Tuesday, February 15 at 5:00 PM and again on Wednesday, February 16 at 1:00 PM.

Stuart Wilson, CTO of Endace, will examine next-generation, high-speed network traffic capture and analysis solutions by detailing how to monitor and protect mission-critical networks with consistent capture and analysis of every packet even in large enterprises, telcos, and other high-throughput networks on   Tuesday, February 15 at 2:00 PM.

NEI will also hold a reception event in its booth on Wednesday, February 16, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.   During the event, NEI engineers and program managers will be on hand to address emerging security concerns for the cloud, SaaS, and other growing computing models that require new approaches to IT security.
