HELOTES, TX, October 25, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ — On October 20, 2009 a new blog launched to assist small business owners and home-based businesses with creating sales letters that bring in revenue during the recession.
Marlon Sanders, CEO of the San Antonio-based corporation stated, "A lot of businesses are tightening purse strings during this economic downturn. But they realize they can’t stop marketing. To provide much needed training on using sales letters to bring in revenue, my corporation has started a new blog that has already landed on page 1 of Google for the term "sales letters"
"These aren’t easy times for small business owners," stated Sanders. "The banks are getting a bail out and big corporations are getting a bail out. But small business owners know the only bail out they’ll get is from smart marketing. That’s why our corporation is determined to give immediately actionable, usable information on the new blog."
Sanders gave his shortened version of what he termed his small business tough economic times bail out plan. According to Sanders, "Step one is to really get in touch with your customers and find out their emotional mood. Are they pulling back the purse strings? If so, why? What are they still spending money on? Is there a segment or portion of your demographic that is continuing to spend money on purchases in your product category?"
"Step two," said Sanders, "is to create bright, targeted promotions that allay the fears of consumers and give them bargains. They key in a recession is to lower your prices. In good times, increase your prices."
Sanders stated, "The third step is to craft a sales message in the form of a sales letter, teleseminar, blog post, postcard or traditional sales letter that makes a very attractive offer to the customer and calms their fears."
To close things out, Sanders offered this advice, "In this recession, you can either draw back or market smarter and harder. The companies that survive will focus on marketing value-based offers, deals and packages. This is the path to follow."
