New Column on Smartphone Battle for No. 3 by Jeff Kagan Tech Analyst

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 07, 2013

Jeff Kagan, Tech Analyst and columnist with has written a new column titled, The Tooth-and-Nail Scrap for the No. 3 Smartphone Spot.

The following comments may be attributed to Jeff Kagan, Industry Analyst.

“Until about six years ago, the wireless world was pretty predictable. BlackBerry and Nokia were the leaders, and everything was growing and stable,” says Jeff Kagan Principal Analyst. “Then the iPhone entered the picture and changed everything. Next was Android, creating more disruption and the race for number one was on.”

“Today the global handset leaders are Samsung running Google Android and Apple iPhone. However, I believe the big story in 2013 is who will be No. 3. The competition will be intense,” says Jeff Kagan.

“BlackBerry and Nokia, the leaders a few short years ago, are gearing up for battle to become No. 3, but Sony, Huawei, ZTE, Motorola, HTC, LG and other are also going to try and win this race. Who will be the winner is the question we are all asking,” according to Kagan.
