New iPad App Accent HD Takes Medical Dictation and Transcription Mobile

DETROIT May 23, 2012

Accent HD offers resources that shift time away from paperwork, and focus on patient centered care by moving with providers throughout the clinic setting. Accent HD’s simple but intuitive interface allows for dictation that uploads via WiFi to OvernightScribe. Files are then transcribed, and posted in the clinic account. Physicians can carry the iPad with them to review archived reports, then dictate immediately upon seeing a patient.

Doctors can dictate and review reports in the same app, saving time and centering attention on patients. Completed reports are available to review, edit, print to iOS capable printers, as well as email and fax to referring physicians. Standard features include options for letterhead and e-signature stamps in approved reports, and a complete search archive to recall old reports. Michigan Michigan State University Michigan
