Backing up files and folders now can be done with the help of extended Windows Explorer context menu: the new option ″Backup with Handy Backup″ in it will instantly create a task and include selected data in backup set. At present, this type of integration with Windows OS is available for only files and folders. But in the nearest future the company plans to develop this option for database backup and disk imaging.
“In the next versions we are planning let users see their e-mail messages, computer’s physical devices and all other data as common folders,” said Alexandr Prichalov, head of Novosoft Development Department. “This will allow them to perform easy backup right from Windows context menu, or by common drag-and-drop operations.”
